Data Status In Sync

Why does the status button change colors? What does this mean for my account and data?

Fina is unique in that we connect and process your data live each time you login. This means any change you make in the system (such as whenever you add a new account, refresh to see new transactions / updated balances, or are categorizing your transactions) the status icon will show you if that data is in sync or still processing.

GREEN: This means your data is in sync & up to date. No action is needed. If you hover over the icone, it will tell you how long ago this data was synced. FLASHING: Occasionally, there are a lot of transactions processing in the background or a big change has occurred such as categorizing a lot of transactions at once. You may notice this icon flashing, this means the data has not synced fully yet. No action is needed, but the accuracy of your numbers for reporting may lag behind until this is green again.

RED: This means your data is not in sync. This sometimes requires a hard refresh if it does not change. If this is prolonged, please reach out to our support team and we will take a look into your situation.
