Disable Account
How do I disable an account and what does this mean?
Some folks accidentally add live connections from Plaid or a service provider that they don’t want to see or manage inside Fina. For example, when I’m connecting to Chase Bank, it shows me 5 accounts I could pull in. I select ‘All’. Later I realize I don’t want one of these accounts in here. The only option to delete this is to remove the ENTIRE institute of Chase (deleting all 5 accounts) and restart the add account flow to select only the 4/5 you want on the next try. This can be frustrating so the easiest workaround is to simply disable an account.
Disabling an account will remove it from any view inside of Fina. You will not see the balances or transactions from this account and it will be hidden. It will not show up in any of your reporting either. You can always revert this and re-enable an account by showing all accounts in your filters and selecting to re-enable.
